Free practitioner conference

C84C: Collabor8 4 Change in Inclusive Technologies
Friday 12 October, 5:30 – 9pm

Collabor8 4 Change and Load2Learn are inviting participants to join them for a free practitioner conference on the use of technologies in education with a special focus on inclusive technologies.
Delegates can pick a route through the evening of up to 5 separate sessions, opening up the opportunity for truly personalised CPD. Topics will include; text to speech, free and open source technologies for accessibility, accessible and alternative formats, teacher training in use of technology for accessibility, peer support in accessibility, print disabilities (dyslexia, visual impairments, physical disabilities) and projects supporting SEN and technology in schools.

Young Epilepsy are running a seminar at TES special educational needs show in London on the Friday at 11am entitled: Epilepsy - more than seizures? The workshop will consider the impact of epilepsy on learning and classroom performance and will provide those attending with practical information and advice as well as a range of strategies and free resources to support learning.
Our trainers are funded through The BIG Lottery to provide FREE school based training sessions, assemblies and class work to London Schools until January 2013.
